Last Wednesday in practice we talked about different ways to live a healthy life. During our warm-up we played a game of "baseball." There were two teams, each team received a question, if the team answered the question correctly they got to send a teammate to a base.
Each practice we count laps. It's been fun watching the girls encourage each other as they run past. It's also been great seeing the motivation in the girls. They are always trying to get more laps then the last practice. Last week, the girls counted laps by ranking various healthy living habits in the order in which they think are the most important.
Although we would LOVE to be outside, it's not so bad inside. While we run laps in the gym we get to listen to fun, inspirational songs. Running to music and talking with friends is the best! The coaches run with the girls too!
